Samsung Galaxy A33 5G and A53 5G are the latest additions to the mid-range Galaxy A-line. Samsung has already put the two phones up for pre-registration. And it gave us our first look at the duo and its features in official promos. Here are the highlights.
The first big upgrade comes in the camera department since Samsung Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 rock optical image stabilization. This feature allows for steady, shake-free video recording. Plus, it keeps the lens stabilized when you have to hold the phone still in Night Mode photography.
The motionless multi-frame processing makes for bright and crispy photos and video in low light. Object Eraser mode lets you delete any unwanted objects from your shots in post. Dedicated 12MP ultra-wide shooters give you a wider field of view. And depth-mapping lenses power a feature-rich Portrait mode.
Durability is the other notable highlight of the Galaxy A33, and A53 is their official IP67 rating. Both phones are resistant to spills, splashes, and dust. Smooth 120Hz scrolling and SuperAMOLED screens deliver a delightful viewing experience. Samsung has also bumped up the charging speeds to 25W. And we’re promised two-day battery life out of a single charge.
But as shown in the official unboxing clip, you will have to purchase the charging brick separately. The retail box only contains a USB cable and a SIM ejector tool. Also, it’s missing a pair of headphones because Samsung has removed the physical audio jack from both phones.
