Galaxy A33 descends from Samsung's affordable smartphone catalog. Its 8/128GB variant got unveiled in Pakistan earlier in June at an insanely high launching price tag of Rs. 71,500. And due to the sharp rupee drop against the US dollar, later on, the price of the Samsung Galaxy A32's successor bumped to Rs 79,500. A cheaper variant was the need of the hour.

The Korean tech giant has now launched the 6GB/128GB version in Pakistan to control the toppling sales of the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G. The variant packs the same features but comes at a cheaper price tag of 61,999. Here's a list of specs that A33 offers.

Let's begin with the front view of the A33, which features a flat AMOLED display with minimal bezels, 1080p resolution, and an infinity-U notch. The screen size is 6.4" with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and added toughness of Gorilla Glass 5. The slim U-shaped cutout on the face hides a 13MP selfie camera.

A quad camera setup lives at the back of the A33 that uses a high-res 48MP OIS, 8MP ultra-wide, 5MP macro, and 2MP portrait lenses. These sensors live on a slightly protruded camera island. It can record 4K videos up to 30FPS.

Galaxy A33's palette includes Black, White, Blue, and Peach colors. The design is flat with chamfered edges. The phone weighs 186 grams with its glass + plastic sandwich build and IP67 dust/water resistance at a high mid-range Samsung smartphone price point.

Under the deck, the engine inside A33 is an Exynos 1280 — a powerful octa-core chip with a max clock speed of 2.4GHz. The phone hooks up to a 5000mAh cell that supports a 25W charging rate and runs the Android 12 | One UI 4.1 operating system by default.

With Dolby ATMOS and dual stereo speakers, the Galaxy A33 has enhanced gaming performance through its booster mode and LPDDR4X RAM. Galaxy A33 uses Samsung's multilayered Knox platform and under-display fingerprint scanner for security.
