Samsung Galaxy A33 5G Pushed with OneUI 6 x Android 14 Update; Here's What to Expect

In keeping with its promise, Samsung has initiated the rollout of OneUI 6 x Android 14 update to Galaxy A33 5G devices. Launched back in 2022 with Android 12, the Galaxy A33 5G is now on the receiving end of a second major Android update. And here’s everything you need to know. 


The rollout is underway in Russia with firmware versions A336BXXU7DWL1/ A336BOXM7DWL1/ A336BXXU7DWL4. Anticipated across additional regions in the upcoming days, the Galaxy A33 5G users are advised to embrace the update via a stable WiFi connection. 

For the A33 5G users in Pakistan, your devices will ping you a notification as soon as the update arrives in the region. Alternatively, the update is accessible manually through the device's settings under Software Update.


The OneUI 6.0, based on Android 14, introduces multiple new enhancements. Visual changes include a revamped quick toggle area, an updated media controller widget, a fresh system-wide font, and customizable lock screen features in the new Samsung 5G mobile


Among the notable functionalities is an auto-blocker that safeguards against unknown and unsafe 3rd-party applications. Furthermore, users can anticipate camera refinements and improvements to Samsung’s stock applications.

Refocusing on the Galaxy A33 5G's core specifications, the device boasts a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The camera setup comprises a 48MP primary lens alongside 8MP, 5MP, and 2MP lenses. Fueling the device is an Exynos 1280 processor, complemented by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
