The Galaxy A53 5G has been making headlines left and right. The rumor mill shows us an almost complete picture of the phone based on product certifications and leaked specs to prototype mockups. But since the launch for the Samsung Galaxy A52's successor is coming up now, the press images Samsung intends to use for marketing purposes have surfaced.

WinFuture.de, a credible German publication with a proven record of Samsung-related leaks, published eight allegedly official images showcasing the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G. And (to no one’s surprise) they line up perfectly with the many leaked mockups we’ve already seen.

Considering the dramatic success of the Galaxy A52, Samsung is being conservative with the A53 design. As a result, the upgrades from the last-gen are few and far between. Note the softer edges of the camera rectangle, which now melt into the casing. The O-hole in the display seems to have shrunken as well. But the bezel is more or less the same.

The images show the Galaxy A53 5G in black and white shades. But it will also be offered in matte orange and matte blue. It’s not highlighted in the leak, but if you’ve been following the Galaxy A53 story, you might already know that mild aesthetic changes aren’t the only ones Samsung has in store for us this year. The new Samsung Galaxy mobile will lack a 3.5mm audio jack (including other A-series phones.)

Many current mid-range Android phones rock flat railings inspired by the iPhone 13 frame. But the A53 sticks to the soft, beveled edges. It measures 8.9mm in thickness and 189g in weight. There aren’t many gains in the specs department in a similar vein.

The screen is a 6.5” 1080P+120Hz AMOLED. The rear camera is a cluster of 64MP, 12MP wide-angle, two 5MP shooters. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G comes in 6GB/8GB memory variants. And at least 128GB of storage. Everything runs on the Exynos 1200 chip and a 5000 mAh battery. It’s supposed to start anywhere from Rs. 80,000 to 85,000 PKR.
