2023’s Samsung Galaxy A-series lineup is inching closer at light speed. In the weeks leading up to that, the Galaxy devices dubbed A14 5G and A54 5G have been on the news a lot due to certifications, leaks, and Geekbench sightings. Apart from Bluetooth SIG certification recently, Galaxy A34 didn’t leak much to report, which was until now.

Samsung Galaxy A34 pops up on the Geekbench scoreboard and reveals the most crucial trait in its feature list, the SoC. The model number it benches under is SM-A346N, matching the description of a South Korean variant. A34, similar to its siblings in the prospective lineup, bears a 5G-ready processor inside.

A MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with 6GB RAM will power this device. The existence of another chipset variant of Galaxy A34 is plausible. The phone confirms using Android 13 x OneUI 5.0 as the default operating system on boot.

If we talk about Geekbench scores, the latest A Samsung mobile showcases a mediocre performance, racking up 778 points on single and 2332 points on multi-core tests. Typical to nature, Samsung has kept the performance segregation crystal clear across siblings in different price segments.

On a motherboard ID’ed a34x, Galaxy A34 5G runs eight ARM cores at a base clock of 2.0GHz, and a boost clock of 2.6Ghz. The listing shows scores using the 6Gigs RAM variant. In renders, its chassis looks similar to Galaxy A54 and A14 5G; triple camera setup on the rear, chamfered edges, and lenses popping out of the shell directly.

The Galaxy A34 will serve the front camera in a U-notched socket melting into a 6.5-inch display and a wider 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The A34's pricing is a mystery, however, the A32 and A33 are still on the shelves. The Samsung A32's officially quoted price is around 57,999 Pak rupees, while the A33 starts at PKR 62,000.
