Samsung Galaxy A33 5G, one of the company’s wallet-friendly offerings from 2022, is now basking in the glory of its second major Android OS update. Initially donning the Android 12 OS, the phone is now getting updated to OneUI 6 x Android 14 in multiple regions.

The Galaxy A33 5G has been receiving Samsung's generous software update since last month, joining the league of devices with Android 14 firmware. While the initial rollout was limited to a select few countries, there’s good news for those who’ve yet to obtain the update.

According to reports from SamMobile, Samsung has kicked off the Galaxy A33 5G Android 14 firmware in multiple new regions this week, marking its expansion in Asia and Europe. While the report highlights countries like China, Hong Kong, Germany, Kazakhstan, Russia, South Korea, Ukraine, and the Caucasus region, more countries, including Pakistan, will likely secure the update by next week.

If you're eagerly waiting to hit that update button, you should know that the package comes bundled with a November 2023 security patch. Yes, it might be a tad outdated, but the real show-stopper is the Android 14 experience that awaits, now optimized for the impressive capabilities of the Samsung new 5G smartphone.

Stepping back in time, the Galaxy A33 5G entered the scene two years ago, rocking Android 12 at launch. With this Android 14 update, Samsung is proving its commitment by providing two major OS updates for the budget handset. It remains uncertain whether the phone will reach another OS upgrade.
