Samsung Galaxy A33 5G users are in for a treat as Samsung continues with its streak of firmware updates. Earlier this month, the May 2023 security patch paved its way to the Galaxy A33 5G in select markets. The company has now released two additional firmware updates for this device packed with the same essential security patch.

The first update, carrying firmware version A336MUBS4CWD4, delivered the May 2023 security patch to the Galaxy A33 5G. Samsung has followed up with another update, identified by firmware number A336MUBU5CWE1, reinforcing the device's security.

The letter "U" in the firmware number suggests that this update brings more than just routine security enhancements. The changelog didn’t include further details; however, users can anticipate enhanced features allied with the patch. These updates are rolling in Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Paraguay, and Chile.

In addition to the variant mentioned above, Samsung's 5G latest mobile, the Galaxy A33 5G (SM-A336E) is also receiving a secondary firmware update. The version labeled A336EDXS6CWES focuses solely on providing the May 2023 security patch without any additional feature enhancements. This particular update is currently accessible to users in Thailand.

It's still unclear what version of the update will hit the Pakistani shores. Upon availability, we suggest looking at the labels of the firmware and referring to this article for details. To update the device manually, simply navigate to the Settings app on your A33, select "Software update," and tap "Download and install."

Once rebooted, the phone will bear additional resistance to malicious attacks. Following the installation of the firmware updates, users can relish the reassurance of an extra layer of protection against potential security breaches.
