While updates from other smartphone manufacturers can be fraught with delays, Samsung's update process remains as smooth as ever. In fact: the company has been consistently rolling out the March 2023 security patch to its Galaxy A series. And it's finally time for the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G to receive the latest update.

Galaxy A33 5G and a few other devices with Exynos SoCs have been prone to minor security flaws lately. The March 2023 patch on A33 fixes over 50 newborn security risks with the firmware version coded "A336BXXS5CWC2," while the remaining issues will get resolved with the April OTA.

Samsung has confirmed that they will resolve the rest of the Exynos-bound security gaps with the upcoming April security update, which is rolling out to the flagship Galaxy phones as we speak.

Samsung has begun to roll out the latest firmware update for the latest Samsung budget mobile in Europe, with other regions soon to follow. The devices in Pakistan expect to receive the March security update in the upcoming weeks. Upon availability, users must upgrade their A33 5Gs by navigating to Settings >>  Software update and tapping Download and install.

Once your phone completes a quick reboot, you'll notice a more secure and well-protected operating system. Regrettably, the latest OTA update excludes software optimizations or bug fixes. We will continue monitoring and reporting on all the latest software updates for Samsung Galaxy phones, so stay tuned.

Galaxy A33, launched in early 2022, defaults to an Andorid 12 OS with One UI 4.0. By the end of 2022, it received Andorid 13 x One UI 5.0. The phone will surely grab Andorid 14 and 15 updates in the coming years. Galaxy A33 5 G's current price in Pakistan is Rs. 112,500.
