Samsung Galaxy A27 is coming. It’s beyond any doubt, because we saw an official mention of this device on the Samsung website. But finding its exact launch date is a whole other matter. Anyway, we have another update about the A27 from Leakville. Someone has exposed the phone’s renders inside colorful TPU cases.

The rear design of the A27 is barely different from the A37 or A57. We doubt anyone’s going to complain about that. In those renders, the TPU cases obscure the back, but it does seem like another flat plastic shell, completely blank except for the camera plateau.
There’s a vertical triple-camera stack here in a singular enclosure. Again, the design will match the A37 and A57. LED is placed outside the lens cover. Well, we’ve seen unobscured renders of the Samsung latest A model before, so there’s nothing new in these images we didn’t already know.

A key upgrade that we’ve been hearing about has been proven once again. The company is definitely going with the punch hole screen this time. The older models have had the notched cutout for many years. And the phone has rarely justified that with its price, which is always in the midrange segment.

It now looks a bit modern. We appreciate the use of a punch hole selfie camera on the screen this time, though the phone still has a long way to go. The bezels/black borders are very thick around the panel. And rumor has it that the base RAM on the A27 is 6GB.

The phone had a few of its details exposed by the Geekbench database, where we found that it is Android 16-based and running the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. That very silicon was used on the A36 last year, so expect the performance to be on that level.
The selfie camera could get an upgrade, sources say. But they might not touch the rear camera hardware at all. It’s supposed to be a combo of 50MP main + 8MP Ultrawide + 2MP macro sensors. A big chunk of the spec sheet is still blank. We do hope to see more details about the Galaxy A27 in future leaks. So keep watching the news.
