The guessing games end here. Samsung has finally confirmed that the Galaxy A27 will be unveiled soon. There have been plenty of leaks on the subject. We came across a few certifications and renders in the past, and just last month, the Geekbench platform tested the Samsung Galaxy A27. The only thing missing was an official hint, which came in the form of Samsung Wallet-supported devices on the Brazilian website.

This is not the beginning of the teaser spree, mind you. We’ll break that news later when they start. Samsung just updated the list of devices that work with their Mobile Wallet services. Apparently, the Galaxy A27 is one of them, even though it hasn’t been launched yet.
You can see it in the screenshot provided here (credits to GalaxyClub for discovering it). As you read this article, the Samsung latest A model has actually been removed from the official list, which tells us that it was put there by mistake. Any countermeasure beyond this point will just further bolster the rumors of Galaxy A27’s existence.

Nothing else came up in the report besides that. You should know that the newcomer is built around the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, which was used last year by the Galaxy A36. And Geekbench says the base RAM is 6GB on the Galaxy A27.
Of course, there’s a possibility of Android 16 QPR2 x One UI 8.5 for the A27. That’s the OS used by Galaxy A37 and A57 as well. Hopefully, it gets the same amount of updates: Six OS versions and six years of security support.

There is a small change on the display this year, but its significance is completely subjective. Samsung will put a punch hole selfie camera on the A27’s AMOLED. This is not a cheap phone. So a punch will be much appreciated over the ancient notch design.
The optical setup on the A27 goes something like this. A 50MP sensor is put inside the main lens, next to an 8MP ultrawide, right under a 2MP macro. The screen itself is a 6.7” AMOLED that probably has a 1080p FHD+ screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. Keep watching the news for more updates as the A27 gets closer to launch.
