There has been complete silence around the Samsung Galaxy A27. We saw no earlier signs of its release, up until the listing on the GSMA IMEI database today. The phone actually exists. Samsung hasn’t skipped this model for now. The fans can rest easy. Here’s what we learned.

Two model numbers were seen for the same Samsung device at GSMA: SM-A276B/DS and SM-A276U. One is obviously for the USA market and only has a single SIM. We know that the suffix “B” is usually assigned to the international devices, and DS obviously stands for Dual SIM.
We say it once again: there has been complete silence on the Galaxy A27, other than the recent GSMA listing. No Geekbench test or any sort of certification has appeared for this newcomer. We don’t expect to see the handset when the Galaxy A37 and A57 debut.
It’s not cancelled, but the new Samsung Galaxy mobile is almost definitely delayed. We expect to see this handset on stage sometime in 2026. The rumor mill should start looking into this device, now that the GSMA database has unofficially announced its existence.

Galaxy A37 and A57 are nearing the launch rather quickly. We just found the Google Play Console listings for each, and their chipsets were confirmed in the documentation. By the way, each model was listed there with front and back renders. Their designs are exposed.

Galaxy A37 seems to have the 2024 Exynos 1480 SoC, which is still a decent performer. There’s a new Exynos 1680 chip for the Galaxy A57, which borders on the semi-flagship, apparently. These phones will be expensive, but justifiably premium, at least on paper.
They are both built around Android 16 (possibly One UI 8.5). There’s 45W charging support for each. The base RAM on the A37 is 6GB. Galaxy A57 brings that up to 8GB. We’ll share more with you as the story develops on the Galaxy A27. So keep watching the news.
