Samsung Galaxy A27 Leaked Retail Box Confirms Design, Colors, and Price Tag

Samsung listed the phone in the Czech Republic, then some internal renders were exposed to the internet by an X leaker, and now there are pictures of the Samsung Galaxy A27 retail box out there. This newcomer is one of Samsung’s worst-kept secrets. The leaked packaging had these details.

There is indeed a new type of AMOLED screen on the handset that has smaller bezels and a punch hole. So it was only fair to ask if they’ve finally put the fingerprint reader on the screen as well. We have bad news if you were among the people asking that question.

The retail box, which we are still trying to gauge the credibility of, has shown that the Samsung new A model fingerprint reader is still on the side. You can also see the new camera stack design on the packaging. The phone is supposed to have Black, Blue, and Light Green colors, and the A27’s price estimate was given by an X leaker at KES 38,000 (~ USD 293) (~PKR 81,000) for the 6/128GB trim.

The volume and the fingerprint/power keys are sitting on the bulging key island. The phone, apparently, is the African model, and it is being considered for a 24-month warranty period. That’s just the front view of the box. We didn’t get a peek at the back where the specs are usually printed.

The phone has been leaking for a while, and that has helped us make a preliminary spec sheet for this newcomer. Galaxy A27 could use a 6.7” super AMOLED that has FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, so it’s basically the same as last year, with a punch hole upgrade.

There has also been gossip of a 50MP main camera next to a 5MP ultrawide. The 2MP macro would be the third lens. And the selfie could be 13MP. A performance upgrade seems to be a possibility on the Galaxy A27, because there’s a new chipset on it.

They want to put a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 on the Galaxy A27 after using it on the Galaxy A36 last year. So it’s technically a promotion. The battery will be 5000mAh. No big upgrades are expected on power delivery either. Keep watching the news for more updates.
