According to the company, the devices come with good specifications and should compete with the most diverse options from Chinese manufacturers.

Featuring 90Hz screens with an FHD+ resolution, four rear cameras, and mid-range processors, the Galaxy A23 and A33 5G become part of the brand's portfolio in the domestic market, about 3 months after the global launch.

Samsung Galaxy A33 5G

The Galaxy A33 5G rocks a 6.4” SuperAMOLED screen with a 1080P resolution, that refreshes at 90Hz and uses Gorilla Glass 5 for extra toughness. The U-shaped notch cutout blends into the display and embedded inside is a 13MP selfie snapper. The bezel shrouding it is thin all around.

You'll encounter a quad-lens setup on the rear consisting of 48MP OIS-assisted wide, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP portrait, and 5MP macro sensors. hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery and 25W rapid charging. Exynos 1280 does all the number crunching, you get up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of built-in storage is expandable via a microSD card.

The Android 12, IP67-rated against dust and water, and an in-display fingerprint sensor round it off. You can select from Black, Blue, Peach, and White colors. The new mid-ranger comes in a single 8GB+128GB variant carrying an insanely high price tag of Rs. 71,500.

Samsung Galaxy A23

The Galaxy A23 and A33 share an almost identical design. Save for one element: the V-shaped notch cutout blending into the Galaxy A23 display instead of the U-notched screen. The infinity-V display is a 6.6” TFT LCD with a 1080P resolution, toughened with Gorilla Glass. The viewing angles lack the consistency and proper contrast of modern handsets. The V-cut notch has an 8MP selfie lens.

Featuring Snapdragon 680 4G chipset under the hood, the Galaxy A23 packs 5000 mAh of battery power. But the charging speed carries the same 25W standard. The power button doubles as the fingerprint scanner, and we find a 3.5mm audio jack embedded in the frame.

You can choose from muted black, white, blue, and peach colors. Samsung Galaxy A23 comes in a single 6GB + 128GB variant and is now available nationwide, starting at Rs. 48,500.
