Samsung Galaxy A14 Appears on Bluetooth SIG; Expect Announcement in Coming Weeks

In a recent break, we discovered Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and A54 5G listed on Bluetooth SIG Database. Although they didn’t divulge anything noteworthy, they did notify their imminent arrival in the weeks ahead. Samsung Galaxy A14 is following suit and appeared on Bluetooth SIG certification yesterday, affirming its alleged arrival in the coming weeks.

The certification takes Samsung Galaxy A14 5G a step closer to launch. Bluetooth SIG registered it under model numbers SM-A145P_DS and SM-A145R_DSN. The model number designated with “DS” or dual-SIM has already cleared WiFi Alliance and Indonesian SDPPI certifications. With its appearance on multiple platforms, we suspect a launch is just around the corner.

According to the document, Galaxy A14 awaits Bluetooth 5.3 technology. WiFi Alliance listing adds that A14 uses Android 13 by default and underlines dual-WiFi bands at 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Both certifications present limited data about the model. Geekbench, on the other hand, revealed plenty about Samsung's latest phone model aka the A14 5G.

Geekbench confirmed its 5G and stats on two different listings. One shows MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, and the other shows Exynos 1330 chipset at its core. In that aspect, the chain is discriminating performance in different regions. D700 is an older chip with mediocre performance, while Exynos 1330 is newly created, boasting new architecture and higher clocks.

A14’s former listing on the FCC Database reveals a 5000mAh cell linked to a 15W charging kit. In rumors, the phone bears a 13MP front camera, 50MP back camera, an IPS 6.8-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution, Galaxy S23-like design, and a side-mounted biometric. The model should arrive in 4GB and 6GB variants. A14 may skin the 4G version this time around.
