The Korean giant surprises Samsung Galaxy A14 LTE users with the release of Android 14 x One UI 6 update. While Samsung typically doesn't roll out OS updates for budget phones quickly, the Galaxy A14 5G received the update relatively fast, leaving the LTE model owners awaiting their turn.

The time is here. Android 14 x OneUI 6 for the Galaxy A14 LTE variant finally airs with the firmware version ending in BWK8. It also incorporates the November 2023 security patch. Although currently available in limited markets, specifically Kazakhstan, users anticipate a broader release shortly.

The Galaxy A14, alongside its 5G counterpart, stands out as one of the first devices to receive the Core version of One UI 6. As these devices come equipped with One UI Core 5 from the outset, the latest update offers a lighter software experience tailored for low-end smartphones, resulting in a more streamlined feature set.

When the Android 14 update for Galaxy A14 becomes accessible in Pakistan, you can conveniently download it over the air by navigating to Settings » Software update on your Samsung's latest budget phone. Once downloaded, tapping the install button will quickly reboot the handset, welcoming you to the latest UI experience.

The update meshes well with the Samsung Galaxy A14's overall specifications. The device uses a MediaTek powerhouse called Helio G80, packing a punch with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. In the Pakistani market, the handset's official price is Rs 59,999/-, fitting perfectly in the mid-range category.
