Samsung Galaxy A14 4G-Version Unveiled; 6GB RAM, Helio G80 SoC, and 5000mAh Battery

In the starting week of 2023, Company unveiled the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G preinstalled with Android 13, Exynos 1330 SoC (5G), and a few upgrades over the precursor A13. The chain has relaunched the phone; however, the new A14 variant is 4G-enabled. Here are its specs in detail.


Galaxy A14 4G is the same as the original in design, bearing a sleek plastic frame with upright edges. It delivers Full HD+ resolution through a 6.6-inch PLS display. Instead of 90Hz, its display now runs at 60Hz. The infinity V-notch on the forehead hides a 13MP selfie unit.

In core specs, A14 4G comes equipped with MTK Helio G80 SoC. Compared to the 5G variant, expect the newcomer with slightly lower graphics and CPU performance. Powered by a 5000mAh cell, it boasts 15W fast charging.


The variant launched in Malaysia features 6GB RAM combined with 128GB storage. The brand-new addition to the Samsung price catalog has Android 13 OS running on it by default. Its chassis carries a Type-C port, a 3.5mm Audio port, a loudspeaker, and a dedicated SD card slot for storage expansion. Additionally, there's a fingerprint reader on its side for quick lock screen access.


A14 4G's camera trio is identical to the original. It's decent in resolution and likely the highlighting feature of this phone. A 50MP sensor lives under its alpha lens, followed by 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensors under the secondary shooters. 

The first market to receive Galaxy A14 4G is Malaysia. Samsung has deployed the phone in Black, Silver, Green, and Dark Red colorways. Thus far, pricing details for the model are a mystery. We'll find out once it reaches other countries. its forbear, however, is readily available in the country. Samsung's all-new a13 costs a little north of 54,000/- Pakistani rupees.
