We saw Google Play Console listings for the Samsung Galaxy A08 and A07s a few days ago, so we had a hunch these devices exist. But now Samsung has put a stamp on it by adding official support pages for both phones on their official site in several countries. There’s no doubt left. Galaxy A08 and A07s are definitely on their way.
There’s a leaker on X who found out the new links on Samsung’s site, which direct to the official support pages for A07s and A08. And it’s not just a single region either. Dedicated A07s support listings were seen in Bangladesh and Indonesia. The same goes for Malaysia and the Philippines.
Galaxy A08 also wound up getting listed in many Asian countries, though it does not include Pakistan. We are talking about Malaysia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. And it even made an entry in Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnamese Samsung links.
But that’s just it. It didn’t fill any gaps on the spec sheet. So we have to rely on the basic information we saw on the Google Play Console listing for now. Apparently, the Samsung latest A model is also known as model SM-A085F. This should help with future discoveries.
The bottom ranks don’t usually see big hardware changes. That rule is still the same for the Galaxy A08. This newcomer will stick to the same old MT6789V or Helio G99 SoC that was seen before on the A07 4G as well. It’s a 6nm 2.2GHz platform with Mali G57.
They have the perfect excuse to cut the RAM on Galaxy A08, but it seems Samsung was generous. 8GB RAM option will resurface. There’s only a 720p HD+ display, and the phone’s render is right there in the listing, so you can check out its design as well.
Galaxy A07s was also seen on the GPC database with a render. We know its design, front and back. It’s actually addressed as SM-A077M. There’s 4GB RAM here, and it shows the exact Helio G99 chip. Its display will be capped at HD+ 720p resolution. The launch date is still missing, though. We’ll be keeping an eye on it, so stay tuned for future updates.
