Realme X7 Series Announced; Debuting in September with 125W UltraDART Charging & 120Hz AMOLED Display

Oppo has always been on the cutting-edge of fast charging technology, so it comes as no surprise that its budget-conscious sub-brand Realme is bringing the first-to-market 125W UltraDART. The young phone-maker published the release calendar for its upcoming Realme X7 flagship series, complete with a sneak preview of the X7 Pro and a subtle teaser the next-gen fast charging.

The impossibly sleek Realme X7 Pro looks pure eye-candy — that is, incredibly narrow bezels and a razor-slim profile. Bound inside the frame, is Realme’s very first 120Hz ‘flexible’ AMOLED screen.

The Pro variant of X7 is also rumored to have an in-display fingerprint scanner embedded inside. While not flexible in the literal sense, the AMOLED display could wrap itself around the edges.

Above the vibrant fluid graphics trailing the 120Hz, you’ll find another highlight feature of the series — ‘thin and light charging.’ For our readers out of the loop, Realme has announced the so-called ‘5G Flash Charging’ for X7 Pro, designed to be ‘ultra-thin and ultra-light.’ Since it’s seemingly ready for commercial production and to be added to the Oppo price list, the X7 series could debut with 125W UltraDART charging that can power up your phone to 33% in only 3 minutes.

The processor hardware isn’t detailed; neither is the battery rating, but the chipsets powering the series has an integrated 5G modem. Realme is introducing the X7 and X7 Pro duo on September 1, at 11:00 AM PKT.

But while we wait for more teasers to follow, the two flagships may have already been featured on TENNA. WhatMobile reported two mystery Realmes showing up on TENNA’s database earlier last week. If it’s the Realme X7s, the series would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G platform and a 64MP quad-camera system.
