Realme GT 8 Pro Found in a Massive Leak; Live Photo and Key Specs Go Viral

Realme GT 8 Pro has leaked before, but not to this scale. Someone collected all the rumored details and put them online. The leak went viral on X today. It gave away almost all the GT 8 Pro’s specs. It even showed a live photo for a preliminary look. Here’s what we have on this device so far.

The camera design looks untidy, as if it’s an unfinished product, but there’s a reason for it. We finally understand what Ricoh’s role is in all this. That camera company may be designing swappable lens modules for the GT 8 Pro. The shape of the camera island can be changed at will.

That’s why we’ve been seeing the Realme GT 8 Pro with two sets of renders on the web. One lens cap is round, and the other is a square island. You can hot-swap the camera modules, which is a unique little feature. Of course, the sensors inside cannot be changed.

Well, the leaked photos of Realme's latest GT model only show two designs. We can confirm there are more. Realme already put a teaser video on the net that previewed at least three “Camera Faces.” The one that looks like a robot face will show exactly where each sensor is placed on the hub.

That’s where today’s leak proved helpful. The post by @Gadgetsdata says Ricoh collab gives the GT 8 Pro interchangeable modules. Under that cover, there’s a 200MP (1/1.56”) HP5 periscope telephoto/telemacro sensor — the square module you see at the bottom.

There’s also a 50MP LYT-808 (1/1.4”) OIS main camera here and an Ultrawide 50MP JN5 sensor right next to it. A 7000mAh battery lands on the GT 8 Pro with 120W input. Then we have a 2K 144Hz (LTPO) AMOLED on the GT 8 Pro. This phone will snag the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Realme is also working to refine the Pro’s haptics and sound. The leaks said it would bring back an IP69 rating and an ultrasonic fingerprint — something we’ve seen on the Realme GT 7 Pro already. Those specs are right on the bleeding edge. The launch could happen this month, so keep an eye on it.
