The company has finally launched Realme C55 to unwrap its very-own version of Dynamic-island. The company has named its black-pill design "Mini Capsule." It is probably the high point of C55's feature portfolio. Realme has endowed the newcomer with multiple high-end specs; have a look.

Starting with its display, the C55 has a large 6.72-inch panel refreshing at 90Hz frequency and boasting impressive 680 nits brightness. As with typical budget phones, the newcomer has its fingerprint reader embedded to the side atop the power key.

In addition to its Helio G88 SoC, Realme C55 comes packed with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and runs Android 13 x Realme UI 4.0 out of the box. Additionally, the phone has a dedicated microSD card slot expanding its storage by up to 1 TeraByte.

Its camera setup is passable. The Primary shooter on C55 is 64MP, joined by a 2MP depth mapper for high-quality portrait shots. The selfie camera hidden under the new Realme budget mobile's Mini Capsule is 8MP.

Furthermore, Realme C55 features a USB-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and NFC. It has a slim profile at 7.89mm, even with its chunky 5000mAh cell and Dirac's audio tuning. Unlike its predecessor C35's 18W charging, the new Realme C phone has 33W SuperVOOC, unlike the usual 18W as also seen on the Realme mobile C35

Regarding its defining trait, the "Mini Capsule," users can now interact with notifications in an entirely new fashion. Mini capsule shows live notifications like music playing, low battery alerts, charging progress, step count, and data consumption. The full functionality of the capsule will not unlock until the next OTA update from Realme. In the shades of Rainy Night and Sun Shower, the phone starts at 160 USD for a 6+128GB configuration (~45,000 PKR).
