Realme 9 series, the next generation of Realme's primary line, is reportedly dropping in the first quarter of 2022 — perhaps as early as February 2022. Realme has yet to hint at the upcoming launch officially. But Realme 9 phones are clearing product certifications all over the world. The Realme 9 Pro recently popped up on internet databases of various regulatory bodies.

The Realme 9 Pro 5G was spotted on Thailand’s NBTC, Indonesian TKDN, Russian EEC, and Indian BIS databases. The first three authorities cleared the Realme 9 Pro 5G under the model number “RMX3472.”  So it’s likely that the Realme 9 series will drop in these Asian countries first.

But it’s listed as ‘RMX3471’ on BIS, suggesting India’s Realme 9 Pro will be an exclusive model that’s tweaked in some way. Besides the Pro edition, the series also includes the Realme 9, the Realme 9 Pro+, and the Realme 9i. The Pro+ model has previously passed through Bluetooth SIG.

The details of the Realme new 5G model are a mystery. But the rumors have predicted a few specs for the 9 Pro+. Realme is upgrading its charging power to 65W.

The Realme 9i now gets 33W — upped from 18W. The chipset inside the Pro+ is either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 or the MediaTek Dimensity 1200. Think of the Pro+ in the same vein as the typical Realme GT editions.
