Introduced last month, the Realme 6i is soon to debut in Pakistan, announces the company at its official Facebook page. Realme prices and variant details are yet to be shared, but the phone will be launching on April 27, 2020 at 3 PM.

The phone is currently retailing in Malaysia for RM 699, which converts to some 25,600 rupees and after adding the taxes we can expect the price to fall anywhere around 30,000 to 33,000 PKR. If our readers recall, Realme 6i is the budget-minded edition of the brand’s Realme 6 series. It launched with a fresh design and debuted the world’s first MediaTek Helio G80 processor.

Let’s go over the design first. You’re looking at a 6.5-inch HD+ screen that houses a mini-drop notch for the front cam and produces a screen-to-body ratio of 89.8%. The entire build is polycarbonate.

The rear-facing is polished and comes in ‘Green Tea’ and ‘White Milk’ colors, coated with a refreshing lined pattern. A traditional fingerprint scanner rests in the middle, flanked by a vertical quad-camera setup.

The primary camera has a 48MP sensor behind, rounded off by a 119-degree 8MP camera and 2MP portrait and macro shooters. The main lens has an f/1.8 aperture, so you can expect some above-average camera performance. The notch has a 16MP sensor, augmented with AI.

The aforementioned Helio G80 processor has an octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. Realme promises a 35% improvement in CPU performance and a 25% boost in GPU power. It’s hooked up to a 5,000 mAh cell that charges over a USB Type-C port and supports 18W Quick Charge. The massive battery affords the phone up to 39 days of standby.

Realme Pakistan has opted for 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. If you find it lacking, the storage can be expanded thanks to a hybrid microSD card slot. WhatMobile Expects the price to be anywhere around 29,999 PKR. The phone ships with the latest Android-10-based realmeUI 1.0.
