Some new details were found today about the Realme 17 Pro Plus. This newcomer will outrank every other in the series, and this tier usually has near-flagship specs. The leak from DCS gave us the exact camera setup they’ve used on the Realme 17 Pro+ and its display as well.
There was a leak about its camera specs in May, and the tipster reiterated those details word-for-word in his new post today. Apparently, they want to put a 200MP main camera on the Realme 17 Pro Plus, and from what Digital Chat Station said back in May, this ought to be a Samsung HP5 outsole.
There’s another camera on the back, which is supposed to be a telephoto 50MP sensor, probably a Samsung JN5 3.5X periscope shooter. And then we’ll have a third Ultrawide 8MP unit on the back. The previous leak did not have that last bit of detail.
Oppo had to pull its OnePlus series from Europe and US markets. And while they were at it, they also pulled their Realme subbrand from the Chinese market. So no, Realme latest 5G mobile won’t show up in China. And the launch will be global by default.
The leaker also gave up the phone’s screen size and other facts. This phone will have a 6.78” screen that caps at 1.5K resolution. The leak does say it has an ultra-high refresh rate. But nothing’s specified there. What we have right now on the Realme 16 Pro+ is a 144Hz High RR AMOLED.
Apparently, Digital Chat Station had the phone on hand while this leak was made, so it’s possible that he’ll reveal more details about this newcomer down the road, so we’ll have our ears to the ground for more news. And by the way, there’s no news on a launch date either, but we believe it’s close. Keep watching the news for more updates.
