The next flagship releases from Poco are likely the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. We’ve been gathering details about these handsets for a while now. A new leak surfaced today that revealed the packaging for the standard Poco X8 Pro 5G. The plastic wrapping around the device confirmed some key specs. Here’s what we learned.

It’s beyond any doubt now that the device is a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5. The original phone actually debuted in China at the start of 2026. And the global market is supposed to receive the same handset under the product name Poco X8 Pro 5G. The retail box leak only validates that theory.

The packaging and plastic wrap around the phone, as you can see in the photos, clearly showcase the chipset used inside the X8 Pro. It’s the Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC. We are quite familiar with this chip because it was also used on the Redmi Turbo 5.

That’s a 3.4GHz octacore processor that competes at the same level as the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3. Mali-G720 MP7 iGPU also puts out a decent gaming performance. AnTuTu gave this SoC a score of 2.5 million points. But that’s not all the photos reveal. To get updated on specifications, the Xiaomi Price list, check our website, news section, and Facebook page.

Apparently, Poco X8 Pro 5G can also recharge at a fast 100W input. The charger is used to refill a 6500mAh non-removable battery here. The newcomer is definitely meant to last more than a day on a single charge, but that all depends on the user’s activity. Gaming and heavy tasks could drain the phone in just hours.

The newcomer is built around a 6.59” AMOLED that pushes pixels at a 120Hz rate. The screen’s resolution is actually 1.5K, so it should look pretty sharp. These phones compete at the sub-flagship level, which means the camera isn’t that impressive on the Poco X8 Pro.

There’s only a 50MP Main OIS shooter, next to an 8MP ultrawide on this rebranded Redmi Turbo 5. The rumor mill advises the Poco X8 series may debut by mid-March 2026. A few details still need confirmation. We’ll get back to you if there are any more updates. Keep watching the news.
