Oppo's sleekest phone of 2020, the F17 Pro just received a price slash in Pakistan. The discount comes at the heels of the upcoming Oppo F19 Pro & Pro+ launch, suggesting that Oppo Pakistan is readying for the next generation of the F-lineup.

No official announcement has been made yet on Oppo Pakistan’s social media, but sources inform WhatMobile that the F17 Pro is now retailing for Rs. 47,999. It’s marked down from Rs. 51,999, which makes for an attractive Rs. 4,000 discount.

For this mid-range price, Oppo F17 Pro offers you a slim, featherweight design: 7.5mm in thickness and 164g in weight. The shell, made of plastic, has a glossy, satin finish, available in Magic Blue and Matte Black colors. Out on the front, the screen has a wide hole-punch cutout in it.

You’re looking at a 6.43” SuperAMOLED panel with a Full HD resolution, 800 nits of peak brightness, and a touch sampling rate of up to 180 Hz. A dual front camera array, featuring a 16MP f/2.4 and a 2MP depth sensor, is encased in the pill-box cutout. The Oppo F17 Pro also houses an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The rear-camera system has four lenses: a primary 48MP f/1.7 camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 2MP monochromatic cameras. Its image processing supports two different night modes and several portrait modes. The F17 Pro can shoot in 4K, stabilized with software magic.

MediaTek Helio P95 and a 4015 mAh battery power the F17 Pro. SuperVOOC 4.0 30W flash charging takes 53 minutes to fully charge the device. Oppo promises all-day battery life that can be stretched further with the onboard power-saving mode.

You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable with a microSD card. Out of the box, ColorOS 7.2, based on the previous-gen Android10, runs on the Oppo F17 Pro.
