They just revealed the official launch date for Oppo A7 Pro Max on social media. The company has been teasing this handset in China for a while, and today, a new post was dropped on Weibo with the exact schedule, which puts the debut on Tuesday next week.
They plan to unveil this newcomer on August 4th, which is very close. We’re three days out from the official debut on Tuesday (2:30 PM Chinese local time), and this will be the first Oppo phone with a 10,000mAh battery. That’s what they’ve been advertising as the main selling point for the Oppo A7 Pro Max.
We’ll put the teaser image somewhere in the post, so you can see the intended schedule for the newcomer. By the way, the A7 Pro Max already has an official retail page on Oppo Store China, the place where locals can buy the device post-launch.
The listing had a couple of renders. The whole color palette can be seen in the images. There are Blue and Black versions. And then we have the main orange color. The store obviously doesn’t reveal everything. But some specs did appear on the website. Check the latest Oppo mobile prices in Pakistan and compare models before you buy.
It has been confirmed that the battery is 10,000mAh. We also found out that the main camera is 50MP. The very same 50MP resolution is also used on the selfie sensor. There are more cameras on the back, but none are specified on the retail page.
Oppo A7 Pro Max does have a storage variety. The base version will have 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB trims. But the high-end option will end up with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The last option will not come cheap. The price will be made official at launch.
Anyway, the listing didn’t have anything else, but Geekbench helped fill the blanks. There’s Android 16 and Color OS 16 on the Oppo A7 Pro Max by default. And the chipset pulling the load is a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5. The frame is built around a 6.78” AMOLED. Keep watching the news for more updates.
