Samsung Galaxy A53 Official Press Images Featured in a Last-minute Leak

We’re a few hours away from the official launch of the Galaxy A53 5G. Last year's Samsung Galaxy A52 was the brand's best-seller last year, and the Korean phone-maker hopes to recapture that popularity with the Galaxy A53 5G. While Samsung has yet to make it official, the rumor mill has already leaked every relevant detail. And a last-minute report uncovered the marketing images for the phone.

Sudhanshu Ambhore, a credible phone leaker, published four product mockups featuring the Galaxy A53 5G. It comes in four soft matte shades: white, black, peach, and blue. Both the casing and display are flat. But the camera rectangle curves and melts seamlessly into the shell. It’s the only noticeable design change from last year’s model (other than the somewhat flatter edges of the frame.)

The camera cluster contains a 64 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and two 5MP macro and portrait sensors. Turn the phone over to find an O-hole display. This panel features a 32MP front camera and minimal bezels.

The latest 5G Samsung mobile packs a 6.5” SuperAMOLED screen, rocking a 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits of peak brightness, and a 1080P resolution. Gorilla Glass 5 toughens the Galaxy A53. Plus, Samsung has secured an IP67 rating against dust and water for better durability.

Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 1280 SoC powers the Galaxy A53 5G. It’s a 5nm platform hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery. And Android 12 x One UI runs on the phone out of the box. Note that Samsung has removed both the headphone jack and the charger-in-the-box this year.
