The Xiaomi Mi 11, the first phone with Snapdragon 888, is launching on December 28. Xiaomi has been teasing it on social media. But with only two days left, what could be the final set of leaks is here.

Two hands-on photos of the Mi 11 were posted on Weibo showcasing the front and back previews. They show that Xiaomi is adopting a faux leather aesthetic. The camera island has three lenses, encased in chrome accents and rings. It reads ‘108MP’ if you take a closer look.

In the second photo, the phone’s specifications are pulled up on the screen. To no one’s surprise, the Mi 11 has the Snapdragon 888 at its heart. The latest MIUI 12, based on Android 11, powers it. And 12 gigs of memory handles multi-tasking.

The display itself curves on all four sides, rumored to produce a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi has emphasized damage and scratch resistance. In a promo clip, we’re shown the Xiaomi Mi 11 covered in Gorilla Glass Victus (the latest generation).

The Mi 11screen offers 4x the scratch resistance, 13x the drop protection, and several times as much shatter resistance when tested against the competing glass.

The four color options for the Xiaomi Mi 11 were featured in a Weibo post as well. The official-looking press renders show the charcoal, lavender, blue, and white editions.
