The OnePlus Nord 2 5G is slated for its official release later this week. The phone has been featured in a string of promos and leaks; this trend continues as more press images surface ahead of the upcoming global launch. They showcase the Nord 2 5G in two color options from several angles. Here’s everything we know so far.

Ishan Agarwal, a popular phone leaker, tweeted the press images. The OnePlus Nord 2 design is based on the OnePlus 9, but unlike the flagship, the upcoming Nord comes in Gray Sierra and Green Woods colors. The shell has a curved profile with a smooth matte finish. On the frame, we find an alert slider and power button.

Three lenses are encased in a rounded camera plate that blends into the rear panel. Flip the OnePlus Nord 2 over to find a flat display with a hole punched through its corner. It’s a 6.43” SuperAMOLED screen, featuring a full HD resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint reader.

Previous reports point out that the Nord 2 camera array is ported over from the OnePlus 9. It is made of a 50MP Sony camera assisted with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Selfies are taken with a 32MP front camera.

At its heart, the OnePlus Nord 2 has a custom AI-boosted MediaTek Dimensity 1200. It is top-shelf MediaTek silicon, built on a 6nm process. The chip is powered by a 4500 mAh battery that fast-charges over blazing-fast 65W technology. You get 128GB/256GB of next-gen UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB/12GB of memory. The Nord 2 is expected to join the Oneplus price list soon, starting around USD 430 (~ Rs. 69,000.)
