Infinix Smart 10 Series Debuts with Unisoc Power, IP64 Protection & One Tap AI

The Infinix Smart 10 series has just been unveiled in Malaysia. Part of the lineup are two astonishing new devices called the Infinix Smart 10 and Smart 10 HD. Both have Unisoc chips, fairly decent IPS displays, and some AI chops that we never expected to see in this segment. Here’s the feature breakdown for each of these phones.

Infinix Smart 10

This one seems to be the higher-end model between the two. The vanilla Smart 10 brings a 6.67” IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a not-so-impressive HD+ resolution. But it does offer 700 nits peak brightness and a Dynamic bar, which some users will find extremely helpful.

Its battery pack is a standard 5000mAh cell, which can be recharged at a 15W input — nothing out of the ordinary. But its internal specs did catch our attention. This phone is supposed to represent the sub-entry-level category, yet it features the new Unisoc T7250 chip, usually found in upper-class devices.

There’s 4 GB RAM wired with up to 256 GB of storage. The RAM can be virtually expanded to at least 8 GB. We also have SD card support here, which will allow up to 2 TB of additional space. Infinix Smart 10 ships with XOS 15.1 and tons of AI features accessible through a dedicated AI button.

This device even comes with an IP64 rating that keeps it safe from water and dust. There’s an 8 MP camera on the back and an 8 MP selfie shooter on the front. A fingerprint reader lies on top of the lock screen button, and the device scores dual speakers with a 300% volume boost. The phone’s price hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Infinix Smart 10 HD

A slightly less powerful but still quite impressive Smart 10 HD will offer users a 6.6” LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its display only peaks at 500 nits, which could pose some difficulty reading on sunny days. This phone has the same HD+ 720p resolution as the non-HD variant.

Its RAM capacity is only 2 GB, wired with a Unisoc T606 chip. The performance may not be as smooth on this variant. Infinix did, however, install an Android 14 Go system on this device, which is perfect for its weak hardware. The built-in storage also seems a bit low at 64GB, though it can be expanded using a micro SD card.

Smart 10 HD’s DTS audio mode has a 200% volume boost. Other features include a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5000mAh battery, and 10W charging. An 8 MP camera lies in the front punch hole, and there’s a 13 MP AI camera on the back for primary usage. Even though it’s way cheaper, the Smart 10 HD gives you the same IP64 water and dust resistance.

Both phones have landed in Malaysia without revealing their costs. It’s likely the official prices will be dropped at their next stop, which is going to be the African market. We’ll update the info accordingly on our website once it’s announced.
