We are slowly uncovering more and more details about the upcoming “Infinix Smart 10.” The entry-level device has now surfaced in a new leak, revealing both its key specs and the first official image. With the reports piling up, it’s only a matter of time before the company releases the Smart 10 in the global market.
This newcomer has a slightly revamped design, but most of the hardware features remain untouched, such as the screen resolution and refresh rate. Smart 10 will come out with a 6.67” panel on the front, which peaks at a 120Hz refresh rate and 720p resolution.
The design is familiar, sans the camera island. The lenses have a boxy shape, identical to the Hot 50 series, and a dual camera layout on the back is borrowed from the phone’s precursor. There’s also a punch-hole camera on the front, which is a point of pride for the Smart series, being one of the few to offer such a feature at sub-entry-level price.
The other important upgrade will be the chipset. The older Smart 9 had a Helio G81 Ultra chip, which is a 2.0GHz engine with modest Graphics performance. The new Infinix Smart mobile will probably bring a Unisoc T7250 or T615 SoC, and the RAM is going to be only 4GB on the base variant.
Granted that the new chip is not much of an upgrade, but there’s still potential for better graphics processing with a Mali G57 GPU. Plus, the Smart 10 will be running an ultra-lightweight Android 15 Go with Infinix’s new XOS 15.1.0 operating system, so the user experience should be smooth.
Those two cameras on the back are 8MP+2MP sensors. Its selfie shooter might be an 8MP front-mounted camera. Then comes its battery and charging speed. Per the leak, there’s only a 5000mAh cell here, which you can recharge with a 10W fast charging support.
As for the additional features, expect this new Infinix Smart 10 with stereo speakers and a headphone jack. There’s also a possibility of a fingerprint ID lying on top of the power key. In one of the previous leaks, its price was tipped at under $150, which puts the device in an entry-level segment. Stay tuned to learn more about Infinix Smart 10 as it quickly approaches its launch in the next few weeks.
