Realme has finally consolidated its numeric series to get rid of the scattered timelines and confusing names. They’ve replaced the older Realme 14 Pro version with the vanilla “Realme 15.” And a standard “Realme 15 Pro” is now filling in for the Pro+ variant. Both these phones have debuted globally, and this is a closer look at their specs.
As promised in teasers, Realme has added an AI Edit Genie feature to both these devices, which can be found in the built-in gallery. Each of these newcomers is outfitted with a 7000mAh battery with a maximum supported input of 80W. Realme guarantees 80% health retention on this battery even if you use 1600 cycles.
Realme 15 Pro
This is the superior model among the two, as the name implies. The Pro sibling is 7.69mm thin and looks amazing with glossy side rails and metallic accents around the camera lenses. There are at least three skin colors buyers can choose from: Flowing Silver, Velvet Green, and Silk Purple.
That screen you see on the front is a 6.8” OLED with tiny and uniform bezels. The highlight of this OLED panel is actually a 144Hz refresh rate with smooth visuals beyond reproach. There is 1.5K resolution on this display, 4608Hz PWM dimming, and 6500 nits of peak brightness.
The GPU driving this display is an Adreno 722, which is integrated in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip. Realme slapped a large AirFlow VC cooling chamber on top to keep the temperatures low, not only for the chip, but also for its battery.
The Realme 15 Pro embeds two functional cameras on that large rear bump, along with two flashes and a Ring LED light. The main lens is 50MP (Sony IMX 896), the second is a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and the third and last 50MP camera lies atop the screen for selfies. Its 8/128GB base storage option is priced at $335, which is roughly converted to PKR 95,000.
Realme 15
This device is almost as good as the Pro version, but with a weaker chip and a low-resolution ultrawide camera. This baseline option carries the same 7000mAh battery, 80W charging, and the 6.8” OLED 144Hz panel, though it’s a bit thicker than the Pro at ~7.8mm.
As said, the base Realme 15 swaps out the premium chip for an older Dimensity 7300+ (4nm) engine that clocks at 2.6GHz speed. It may support 144Hz resolution, but the Mali-G615 MC2 might drop a few frames here and there due to its weaker performance.
Now, the weaker chip does come with a caveat for the camera. Realme 15 can only push the video recording to 4K 30 FPS; meanwhile, the Pro variant goes up to 4K@60. This model is also equipped with a weaker 8MP ultrawide unit, though the other lenses are identical: 50MP Main and 50MP selfie shooter.
Just like its Pro sibling, the basic model is also secured with MIL-STD-810H drop protection and IP69 waterproof ratings, though it doesn’t cost as much. This phone is priced at $280 or ~PKR 79,000 for the 8/128GB base memory trim.
