The Infinix Hot 70 series was supposed to come out on 25th May. We had the official confirmation after all. But one of the phones dove early into the Bangladeshi market today. The basic Infinix Hot 70 is now officially listed with all the specs. The rest of the siblings had their color options revealed. This is what we learned.
The colors are a big deal this year. It seems that all the siblings have a combined total of 12 finishes, and they are putting the Thermo Orange color in charge, since that one is expected to sell the most. The back panel changes color, apparently.
Expose it to the freezing cold, like the refrigerator. And the color will change to a darker, more saturated Orange. If you apply heat, though, they say the color will get lighter. Now, you can manipulate that to make patterns on the phone’s back. They gave an example image. By the way, for latest updates of specs and Infinix price list visit our website
The novelty will wear off, but props to Infinix for trying something new. The Hot 70 series will also have Quiet Violet and Green shades. They are gradient with feather textures that refract light. They also have that Crystal Mood Island around the cameras. It’s meant for iridescent light refraction.
There’s no color change for the Night Pulse, Silver Dancer, or the Dive Blue options. These are basic and muted tones. By the way, the whole spec sheet was revealed for the Infinix Hot 70 after the launch today. It has a big 6.78” screen and a punch hole.
It’s just an IPS LCD panel at HD+ resolution. They overclock the refresh rate to 120Hz. And just to be clear, this is a 4G LTE device with a Helio G100. They had no 4G version last time. There’s a fingerprint reader under the volume keys. An extra button is added to the frame, which you can customize to do whatever you like.
The rear camera is only a single 50MP unit. The island does have a Halo notification LED. The screen side only has an 8MP selfie shooter. The battery is SGS verified and self-healing. It’s actually a 6000mAh cell that will recover battery health over time, and it supports 45W input.
XOS 16 is the default OS it runs. So it starts you off with Android 16, and they plan 3 OS updates (5-year security updates) for the Hot 70 down the line. We even have the Infrared Remote and NFC here. They’ve floored the Infinix Hot 70 at 4/128GB memory, and its price is just $155 (~PKR 43,000). But most will go for the 8/128GB trim at $210 (~PKR 58,000). The middle 6/128GB trim is $180 (~PKR 50,000).
