Infinix Hot 70 Series Launching Next Week with Color-Changing Design & Halo RGB

Infinix began teasing the Hot 70 lineup out of the blue today. The yearly refresh for these devices has come sooner than we thought. The company has also announced the launch date for the Infinix Hot 70 series. It’s scheduled right at the beginning of next week. This is everything we found.

The phones will launch on 25th May, though the device count is still a secret. We saw the former Hot 60 group with four devices, which may happen again this year. We are talking about an “i” model and the vanilla version. There’s always a Pro and Pro+ model in the family.

This is just speculation on our part. We’ll have the exact device count soon, so you’ll be hearing from us again. Anyway, the teasers keep talking about the color-changing design for the Hot 70 series. This isn’t anything new, but we are definitely curious how they manage to slap that kind of technology on a budget phone.

It would seem that the color changes depend on heat. Not sure how the system will work, but we’ll hear more about it at launch. Realme tried the same thing, but the color change was triggered by cold on the Realme 14 Pro series. Infinix didn’t show the full design. That would break the intrigue. But they did give the silhouette of the Hot 70 phone in the teaser. And you can already tell, there’s a Halo RGB light system on the rear. And the camera plateau doesn’t seem that different from the Hot 60 series.

There may be two colors: Green and Orange. But they change the hue, so you technically have four. By the way, the basic Hot 70 was listed on the Google Play Console database just days ago. So we do have some context about the phone’s performance.

This newcomer is built on a Helio G99 chip. That chip is decent enough, but the performance actually gets kneecapped by the 4GB RAM. There may be more options. And the phone’s battery is pegged at 5600mAh (45W Charging). Keep watching the news for more updates.
