Infinix Hot 60i now has a new variant in Pakistan that bumps the RAM and storage to 8GB and 256GB. So far, there has only been a 6/128GB trim in the market. Of course, you will be seeing a price bump with it. The specs remain the same, though. In case you’ve forgotten them, here’s a quick overlook. Hot 60i’s new price is given at the end.

Battery and charging speeds are the phone’s specialty. Its battery is bumped to 5160mAh, and the charging speed is 45W instead of the measly 18W input of its precursor. The phone is IP64 dust and waterproof, which is not too shabby for an entry-level device.
A reinforced design keeps the Hot 60i safe from fall damage. It’s guaranteed to survive a drop of up to 1.5 meters. This particular model is built around a 6.7” IPS panel. The resolution is capped at 720p, but the display runs at a smooth 120Hz.

We have a selfie punch hole on the header that houses an 8MP sensor. The display has good readability for indoor use at 700 nits, but on sunny days, it may struggle. The latest Infinix budget mobile comes with three cameras on the back, each with a square lens.

The main shooter is a 50MP sensor built in with AutoFocus, and the second is a 2MP portrait assistant. The tertiary lens serves no function — just a decorative piece to blend in with the rest of its siblings. Now, this phone may have better charging and cameras than the older Hot 50i, but the chipset is still the same.

It’s stuck with an old Helio G81 Ultra chipset. But if you are already on an entry-level phone looking for a replacement, the Hot 60i shouldn’t feel too different from the rest. Of course, an 8GB RAM upgrade will help you smoothly jump in and out of the apps.
An IR blaster and NFC chip are also present on this device. Hot 60i is also one of the few devices in the segment with a dedicated AI key and GyroPro navigation. The new Hot 60i variant with 8/256GB memory will cost you Rs 40,999 at retail.
