Infinix Hot 60 series has a fifth member on the way, called the Hot 60i 5G. Before making it official, the company has officially teased the phone in an overseas market. Most of its specs have already been confirmed, and you can see the phone’s design plain as day in the official images.
The newcomer looks completely different from the rest of its siblings. The horizontal camera bar sticks out the most, an element the phone borrows from its distant cousin in the Smart 10 series. The horizontal visor is home to a dual lens setup, and the brand teased a 50MP Main sensor inside one of those cameras.
Infinix Hot 60i 5G has quite a vibrant color pack, as you can see in the images right here. Shadow Blue, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Plum Red are all very minimal, dual-tone finishes. The darker middle section and a lighter surrounding area make the design interesting, and it directs your eyes straight to the camera bar at the top.
These new Infinix Hot models may share the same product title, but when it comes down to performance, the Hot 60i 5G is leagues ahead of its 4G Helio G81-powered sibling. This new handset has a Dimensity 6400 chip running on it, which is a 2025 (6nm) entry-level SoC from MediaTek.
Hot 60i 5G will be pairing that chip with a bigger 6000mAh battery, so you’ll also get more screen time out of it. The phone is sealed tight with an IP64-rated chassis, and TUV guarantees 5 years of lag-free performance. Buyers will get to use this device for a long time.
As the chip improves, so does the phone’s ability to handle AI tasks. The Hot 60i 5G gets a handful of practical AI tools, like Circle to Search or AI Call Translation. We would also see a few creative AI features, like the Wallpaper or Image Generator.
This isn’t the first 5G device in the Hot 60 line, by the way. There’s already a vanilla Hot 60, which is built around a Dimensity 7020 SoC. We suspect the new Hot 60i 5G is positioned right under it.
Now that the company has revealed Hot 60i 5G’s core specs, the official debut shouldn’t be that far. For now, though, we have all our attention on the Hot 60 series launch in Pakistan. Infinix has already teased the lineup and should announce the launch schedule any day now. Keep watching the daily news on WhatMobile if you don't want to miss anything.
