Galaxy Z Flip 8 is among the three foldable devices that are supposed to launch this year in the fall. All three devices were listed on the GSMA IMEI database, and that has triggered an avalanche of leaks about their specifications. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 had its camera details exposed recently. Here’s everything we know.

The report is from GalaxyClub, by the way. Their track record lends them some credibility in the matter. They wrote the full camera details for the Galaxy Z Flip 8 in their exclusive piece and said that the specs are disappointing.
Z Flip 8 isn’t getting any spec bump in the camera category. The rear setup seems to be the same 50MP primary lens and 12MP ultrawide duo, which was seen on the Z Flip 7 as well. This isn’t exactly a bad septup, just outdated. It is a $1,000 device after all, so it should grab the best available hardware, yet it does not.

The design has its limitations. There was some hope that the Samsung latest Flip model would have a better 12MP selfie camera at least, but the inner screen will be stuck with the same 10MP shooter as last time. That’s what the report meant by disappointing.

All Galaxy S and A phones have moved to better 12MP and 13MP front cameras in their most recent generations (except A07). The Z Fip series should’ve received the upgrade last year, but it didn’t. And neither will the Z Flip 8 this year.
There are some other upgrades. Samsung might have a slimmer design for the Z Flip 8. We also found reports of a much higher cell capacity on this newcomer. Leakers are saying that it might level up from 4300mAh to 5000mAh. This could be a huge deal for the phone’s endurance. The details are obviously short right now, but we’ll know more as time goes on. Keep watching the news.
