Galaxy A07 5G Tested on Geekbench; Shows Decent Results with Dimensity 6300

Geekbench now has a Galaxy A07 5G in its benchmark database. The 4G version is already out there with a Helio G99 chip, but there’s obviously a far better chipset on this new 5G version. We found its RAM and Android version on the benchmark. It also had the SoC specs. Here’s what the Galaxy A07 5G uses.

The platform has given us the test results of the single and multi-threaded benchmarks conducted on the phone. The newcomer yields passable scores, a bit higher than the 4G alternative. The screengrab of the result shows 729 single-core points and an 1878 average score in the multicore test run.

It would appear the Galaxy A07 5G has a Dimensity 6300 chip built on a 6nm fabrication process. There’s no name on the Geekbench scorecard, but you can pinpoint the exact chip by looking at the core architecture: two cores at 2.4GHz and six cores at 2.0GHz.

This Samsung 5G new model is budget phone after all, and something always disappoints in this category. The base RAM here is just 4GB, which isn’t nearly enough for a smooth UI or multitasking operation. At least they are testing with the newcomer with Android 16 OS. The older A07 4G version sits with Android 15 in the box.

This is all Geekbench showed on the SM-A076B (AKA Galaxy A07 5G). 5G is unlocked with the new chip, but the rest of the specs could be the same as A07 LTE. As such, we’ll be seeing this newcomer with an IP54 rating and mono speaker setup.

They’ll slap on a 6.7” PLS LCD on this device. It will only have 720p HD+ resolution, and pixels will be pushed at a 90Hz refresh rate. An 8MP front camera and a 50MP Main rear camera are also a possibility on the 5G version. Galaxy A07 5G is almost all the way identical to its 4G counterpart.

The battery is just your standard 5000mAh, which is not something we’ve heard people complain about. All you get is 25W charging. Nothing’s really come out to guarantee that the 4G and 5G versions are one-to-one copies of each other. So, we advise waiting for more sources to verify these rumors. Keep watching the news for updates.
