Oppo A7 Pro Max is about to launch in China. It’s their first-ever device with a 10,000mAh battery. But it’s not the only model in the series. The name itself would imply that there’s also a Pro model in the lineup, and a vanilla Oppo A7. One of them may have gotten Chinese TENAA certification.
We already established that PYC110 is the potential model number for the Oppo A7 Pro Max. This was seen on Geekbench, by the way. But a new listing was made on TENAA for a handset with model number PYE110, which is obviously another sibling from the same Oppo A7 series.
But the code is our only clue. There was no name. And there’s not even a prediction on what PYE110 could be. We are in the dark about the product title, but the device did show up with a couple of specs on TENAA certification. Don’t hope for a high-end device.
Oppo PYE110, whichever sibling it is, has a 6.57” AMOLED. So this is an average phone size. 2372 x 1080p is the resolution of this display. That’s an FHD+ panel, and they’ve put a fingerprint reader on it. This is almost as good as the Oppo A7 Pro Max. There’s no Android 17 here. All you get is the older Android 16 and Color OS 16 by default on the PYE110. 50MP main camera will be found on the back. And there’s possibly an 8MP camera on the screen’s header for selfies. We didn’t see an image of the device on TENAA, so the design is elusive.
They’ve put a 2.4GHz SoC on it. But only the boost clock speed is not enough to tell what chipset it is. 6GB is the base RAM option. And the upgrade takes it to 8GB. This newcomer is floored at 128GB, though. Pay more, and you can grab 256GB and 512GB options as well.
The A7 Pro Max has a way bigger 10,000mAh cell. Though the new PYE110 will get you by with an 8000mAh cell, which is impressive in its own right. This does mean that the newcomer is 8.8mm thick. They’ve also put an IR blaster on the device. Keep watching the news for more updates.
