Amidst the tech razzle of yesterday's launch fest, Xiaomi slipped in an announcement of the Redmi Note 13. This super-teased entrant of the Note 13 clan wears modest specs compared to its Pro and Pro+ cousins but stands tall as the next-gen iteration, following the Note 12 roster.

Diving straight into the meaty bits, the Redmi Note 13 boasts a crisp 6.6-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh speed, mirroring its Pro counterparts. The visuals come alive with FHD+ clarity on a 1,000-nit peak display and the finesse of 1920Hz PWM dimming.

Holding these pixels is a center-punched screen framed by minimalist bezels. And, staying true to Xiaomi's love for geometry, the device sports a suave rectangular silhouette with its power button doubled as a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Flipping over the latest Xiaomi 5G model, users will find a square-shaped rear camera bay, housing a hefty 108MP primary shooter complemented by a 2MP depth mapper. The selfie-centric audience can lean on a 16MP frontal lens embued with a cocktail of camera beauty modes and filters.

Under its shell, the device revs a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 engine, offered in a variety of RAM and storage combos, reaching up to 12GB and 256GB. Energizing this Note 13 is a 5,000mAh reservoir with 33W rapid charging, while Android 13 keeps the show running.

Price-wise, the 6GB + 128GB variant kicks off at CNY 1,199 (~$164/PKR 47,000), scaling up to CNY 1,699 ($232/PKR 67,000) for the maxed-out 12GB + 256GB. And for those picking by shades, it dazzles in Star Sand White, Midnight Dark, and Time Blue hues.
