Xiaomi fans, mark your calendars! The global launch of the highly anticipated Redmi Note 13 series is officially out. Following its earlier unveiling in China, Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ to the worldwide audience on January 4th.

Xiaomi has revealed the launch event date on its official website, confirming the international debut of the Redmi Note 13 series. The event, scheduled for next month, will be live-streamed, allowing enthusiasts globally to witness the unveiling of these handsets.

The Pro and Pro+ models, taking the spotlight, come equipped with notable features, including a groundbreaking 200MP 1/1.4-inch primary camera, a vibrant 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display boasting a resolution of 1220x2712 pixels, and robust batteries to keep them powered.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ goes the extra mile by offering IP68 water resistance and a Dimensity 7200 Ultra engine, while the latest Xiaomi 5G model houses a Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 processor and a slightly larger 5,100mAh battery. All three models operate on Android 13 x MIUI 14 straight out of the box.

Leaked information suggests that the Europeans may discover competitive pricing for the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+. If the leaks hold, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is estimated to be priced at €450 (~137,000 PKR), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may retail for €500 (~153,000 PKR).

Both models are to grace the European market in classic black, blue, and white colors. However, details regarding memory variants are still limited, with the 12/512GB combo overheard in the leaks.

Those eager to get their hands on a Xiaomi Redmi phone in the US may need to explore unofficial retailers since its official release in the market remains under speculation. In the Asian markets, however, we have high hopes for the series’ official launch.
