Exciting news for Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G users – Xiaomi is gearing up to unleash the HyperOS update on this budget-friendly powerhouse. The break comes from GSMChina, revealing a HyperOS test build for the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G lurking in Xiaomi's internal server. It hints at an imminent official rollout on the horizon.

The HyperOS builds for the Note 11 Pro 4G bear firmware versions OS1.0.0.1.TGDMIXM and OS1.0.0.1.TGDEUXM that are currently in the testing phase. A closer look at these builds suggests that users will soon encounter a feature-packed upgrade for their device.

Based on the older Android 13, the HyperOS update aligns with Xiaomi's commitment to providing two years of platform updates for its low-end Note series. While the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G launched with Android 11, the forthcoming HyperOS update ensures it keeps up with the latest Android products.

GSMChina anticipates the update to roll out in Q2 2024, with HyperOS Pilot Testers likely getting their hands on it first. For those eager to dive into the experience early, the HyperOS Pilot Tester program provides an opportunity to apply.

To jog your memory, the latest Xiaomi budget mobile flaunts a vibrant 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display boasting a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a dazzling 1200 nits of brightness. Anchored by a robust 108MP quad-camera setup at the back, the Note 12 Pro 4G boasts unrivaled imaging capabilities for its price range.

Under the hood, a MediaTek Helio G96 processor powers the device, offering up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD. A hefty 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging ensures the device stays loaded. While the stable HyperOS build hasn’t shown up yet, Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G users can anticipate the update heading out in mid-2024.
