We’ve come across some new details about the Xiaomi Redmi 17, and it seems the device not only has a 5G version but also a 4G trim that could ship with a Helio G91 Ultra. Redmi 17 4G was leaked with renders and almost all of its specifications today. This is everything you need to know.

The renders were leaked for at least three of the color options. There is a fourth, but it didn’t show up in the images. We’ve put the photos here so you can look at its design and colors. Black, Deep Blue, Lotus Purple, and Oak Green are the four finishes that are being reported by YTECHB.
Lotus Purple is missing. But you can see the rest in renders. Apparently, the Redmi 17 4G is 232g and 8.8mm thick. It is a budget phone at the end of the day, so it’s not quite a premium/slim design. Like we said, there’s a Helio G91 Ultra inside, and the memory options are 4/128 GB or 6/256 GB. Here, you can check the latest Xiaomi phone price updates all in one place.

The report pegs the Redmi 17 4G with a massive 7500mAh battery, and it’s going to recharge over a 45W input. That kind of battery usually tends to last 2 days on a single charge, so the Redmi 17 4G could be a decent two-day phone. The leak had camera and display specs as well.
It would appear that the Redmi 17 4G is built around a huge 6.9” screen. There might be an HD+ 720p resolution. And the report’s pretty clear that it would push pixels at a 120Hz refresh rate. There was no comment on the screen brightness, but we do know it’s an IPS LCD.

There’s only one camera on the back. And that’s a 50MP unit next to a simple flash and notification ring light with a second auxiliary lens. And the front camera that lives on the screen would be an 8MP unit for selfies.
Redmi 17 4G does carry a fingerprint reader, but since it doesn’t have an AMOLED, it’s placed on the side. The phone has NFC, at least in the European model where this leak actually originated. The base cost of the Redmi 17 4G will be €250 (~PKR 79,000), though it could be cheaper in other regions.
