Xiaomi Poco C81 Pro Clears NBTC Certification on its Way to Global Launch

There was no Pro version when the Poco C71 was introduced last year. But the company has now received clearance for a Xiaomi Poco C81 Pro. We found this newcomer in Thailand’s NBTC database, with some important details that you may want to know.

This isn’t the first time a device with the model code “25128PC17G” has appeared on the web. There was another certification from the Indonesian SDPPI platform. But no one knew the exact name for this device at that time. The new NBTC certification helped us identify the Poco C81 Pro.

It’s just an entry-tier handset, by the way. And there’s no 5G support here either. They may have slapped “Pro” to the phone’s moniker, but the fact that it’s from the company’s C lineup already means it’s a low-end device.

This is only the second time we have seen this device. And we are just learning about its name. So there’s not a lot out there about Poco C85 Pro’s specs, but here you can get the updated breakdown of the Xiaomi mobile Price. But we do have a theory. We’ve known Poco long enough to learn that their devices aren’t always original.

Poco C85 Pro could just be a rebranded Redmi device. The newcomer will probably share all of its specs with the Redmi A7 Pro. And that particular version has been receiving certifications for a while now. Last we heard, Redmi A7 Pro was seen with Unisoc T7250 4G-only SoC.

It only has 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. The phone seems to carry a 6.9” display. It’s a huge build. And there is a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 15W wired charging. The Redmi A5 and Poco C71 only had 5,200 mAh cells. So the battery upgrade is massive.

There’s also support for a 13MP selfie camera and a 50MP rear camera, shared by the Redmi A7 Pro and Poco C81 Pro. But not everything is good news. These newcomers may be hitting the market in 2026, but they are stuck with last year’s Android 15.
