Xiaomi may have unintentionally revealed the Poco C81 Pro. The phone briefly showed up on the company’s official webpage. The listing was taken down later, but it was too late. Specs were already extracted and disseminated by the news media. This is what we found about Poco C81 Pro.

It seems to be a rebranded Redmi A7 Pro LTE. The specs match one-to-one, from the display to the battery. We have a 6.9” IPS panel and notch up front. 120Hz refresh rate is available on this screen, and its peak brightness is 800 nits. But there’s only 720p resolution, so you’ll have to make do with softer visuals.
Unisoc T7250 is the chipset used on Xiaomi's new Poco model. The older C71 used the same SoC. It’s a 1.8GHz platform you mostly see on sub-entry-level phones. There’s only 4GB RAM here. Multitasking would suffer, though the C81 Pro has storage going all the way up to 256GB.

You can even expand the storage with an SD card. A 13MP camera is used on the back, which is serviceable. That notch on the screen is home to an 8MP selfie snapper. It’s just a basic setup with no fancy bells and whistles. The C81 Pro will record 1080p videos from either side.
It’s a Hyper OS build inside the Poco C81 Pro, but there’s no telling if it’s Android Go or just the standard Android 16. Still, the latter is more plausible because the Redmi A7 Pro also has the full Hyper OS 3. The battery situation is pretty decent for a budget phone.

Poco C81 Pro isn’t breaking any molds here, but a 6000mAh battery in the category is still pretty reasonable. The charging speed, however, is quite slow at 15W only. The details we found only had the main specs. The essentials can be guessed from Redmi A7 Pro’s spec sheet.
There’s possibly a side fingerprint ID here. Just a single speaker and an audio jack are available. The WiFi is dual-band. And the Poco C81 Pro could also use Bluetooth 5.2. Of course, this is not an official launch. So the price is still hidden. They should unveil it later. Keep watching the news for updates.
