The Xiaomi 11 lite NE was arguably one of the most beautifully designed handsets from Xiaomi. Now the successor to this beauty, Xiaomi 12 Lite, is right around the corner as the company has started teasing the 12 Lite on its social networks. The device has also been listed online on a Spanish and a Romanian online store for a quoted price of €500, further validating the device’s imminent global debut.

The Spanish retailer has played around 11 Lite NE’s internals and associated them with the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G, which is not the case. The specifications mentioned in the Romanian store align better with the circulating rumors.

We already covered the 12 Lite’s expected spec sheet, so here’s a brief overview. The recent renders and images of Xiaomi 12 Lite have disclosed an incredibly slim form factor with flat edges. A smooth matte finish embellishes the rear shell in Blue, Pink, and Black paint jobs.

The triple-camera module will reportedly be divided into three sections. One part will contain the primary 108MP OIS sensor. The 8MP ultra-wide and 5 MP macro lenses on the Xiaomi 12 Lite will be housed within the portion below, while the third section will feature an LED flash.

A Snapdragon 778G 5G SoC is expected to power the 12 Lite with up to 8GB/256GB storage configurations. Electrifying the Xiaomi 12 new model would be a massive 5,000 mAh cell capable of 67W Turbo charging. A 6.55” Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED panel is rumored to cover the front, accommodating a 32MP selfie shooter in a central pin-hole notch.

Unlike its predecessor, the 12 Lite will allegedly sport an in-display fingerprint scanner and run Android 12-based MIUI 13. The price tag mentioned above converts to ~ 105,000 PKR and belongs to the 8GB/128GB variant. The launch date is still unrevealed. More teasers to emerge in the coming days.
