We recently saw a leaked hands-on clip of the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G, showcasing its pink variant. And today, the reliable leakster Evan Blass has presented the internet with official renders of the handset. The new images give us a more detailed look at the design and also unveil the color combinations in which the unannounced smartphone will arrive.

According to the rendered Mi 12 lite 5G images, the device flaunts an incredibly sleek and modern design with flat edges. Its expansive display is encased within thin bezels and houses a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The upcoming successor of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is expected to sport an under-screen fingerprint sensor as the power key doesn't appear to implement a side-mounted scanner like previous models.

The MI 12 Lite 5G's ride side accommodates the power button and volume rocker, while the left seems entirely vacant. A Type-C port, a speaker grille, a microphone, and a sim tray sit at the bottom, while the top part contains the secondary speaker, microphone, and an IR blaster.

A triple camera cluster can be observed on the rear panel of Xiaomi's new Lite model accompanied by a dual-LED flash. Moreover, these renders reveal the handset's black, pink, and green finishes with the company's branding at the bottom of the rear shell.

Other rumored specifications suggest that the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will rock a Snapdragon 778G SoC with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This setup will most likely be energized by a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W Turbo charging, running on Android 12-based MIUI 13.

The primary 108 MP pro-grade OIS camera is expected to be aided by an 8 MP ultra-wide plus a 5 MP macro shooter. A 6.55" Full HD+, 120 Hz AMOLED panel should cover the front while housing the 16 MP selfie lens. The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will reportedly arrive in European and Asian markets first before making its debut elsewhere.
