Vivo Y75 4G Unveiled with an AMOLED Display, a 44W Fast Charging, and Intriguing Colors

After a star-studded event for the launch of the much-awaited Vivo X80 5G in Pakistan, the Chinese manufacturer turned toward India to launch the new Vivo Y75 4G. The new handset is a more affordable option for anyone wanting a smartphone with up-to-date specs. 


The new smartphone is released in India initially and may end up landing in other Asian countries later. The Vivo Y75 4G is equipped with a slim design carrying a 7.55 mm profile and weighing around 172 grams. 

The Y75 4G has a 6.44 inch AMOLED display offering an HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, a 90 Hz refresh rate, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. One can pick from two different colors, the moonlight shadow, and dawn waves. The latter has a beautiful unique rear design. 


Vivo devices are mostly recognized for their incredible list of specifications that come at a lower price compared to others. The Y75 4G was announced with a Triple camera setup of 50 MP main sensor, 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and 2 MP macro lens. For selfies, there's a 44 MP snapper inside a small drop notch.

The new budget Vivo mobile is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset and runs on the Android 12 with the Vivo's FunTouchOS 12 on top. The octa-core SoC is clocked at 2.0 GHz in combination with Arm Mali-G57 GPU. The handset features 8 GB of RAM and built-in storage of 128 gigabytes with expandable RAM support of up to 4 GB. 

To power the internals, the Y75 4G packs a 4,050 mAh battery with 44W quick charging support. The handset also incorporates an in-screen Thumb reader, dual 4G voLTE, Bluetooth connectivity of v5.1 with A2DP, and a USB-C port.
