Vivo Y600 Launches with Massive 10,000mAh Battery and IP68/IP69 Protection

The real schedule hasn’t changed. Vivo Y600 will still launch on October 30th, but the pre-order link just went live in China, and with it came the official spec sheet and overview page. We finally have all of its hardware details. Even the pricing has been revealed for all four variants. This came straight from the Vivo shop.

The phone has a Guinness World Record, apparently. Vivo Y600 is built around a 10,000mAh battery, so it has serious endurance. The newcomer logged 32 hours and 37 minutes on a non-stop livestream test, and that deserves a record. The battery gets charged via a 44W wired input.

This is a handset with 5G bands. And they picked a Dimensity 7300e for the Vivo Y600. Here’s a little disclaimer for you. Most of what you read here will sound familiar because the Vivo Y new mobile is an exact replica of the Vivo V80 Lite (global) and Vivo S2 FE.

Vivo Y600 has a completely flat profile, by the way, and it’s built around a 1.5K OLED at 6.83”. The brightness hits 2000 nits HBM, and there’s HDR10+ support here. It’s not a metal frame, but the build quality is excellent, with an IP68/IP69 waterproof rating and extra padding for drop resistance (Military-grade).

The camera setup is pretty ordinary. All you get is a 50MP main unit on the back, and selfies are taken from an 8MP screenside unit in a punch hole. This one has Android 16 and Origin OS 6. The SoC is two generations behind, but it will handle the OS just fine.

There’s not much else on the Y600, but it does cover the basics well. Dual speakers fire from the top and bottom. 8.6 mm profile makes it pretty chunky, but it makes up for it with a 10,000mAh battery. Every ounce here helps with endurance.

The fingerprint reader is on the screen. There’s WiFi 6 support with BT 5.4, and of course, an Infrared remote is built into the handset. The base Vivo Y600 only has 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and it’s priced quite high at CNY 1,999 (~PKR 83,000).
