All-new Y02, the sibling to Vivo Y02s and successor to Y01, has finally been unveiled. The newcomer is design-oriented and backs multiple mid-tier specs for less than 100 USD. Y02 seems like a potential candidate for the chain's Pakistani portfolio. Indonesia is the first region to welcome Vivo's new model.

Live images of the phone are already doing rounds on the internet, showcasing Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey colorways. Vivo Y02 has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD on the face with a notch melting into the screen, providing an HD+ resolution at 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. Though the phone's chassis has a modern, premium aesthetic, the screen mounted on it is rather average.

In Optics, Y02 bears a single camera configuration on the back with an underwhelming 8MP shooter. The uplifted silo has a metallic rim endowing it with a premium look. Its fuselage has a frosty matte texture, and a glossy accent for that circular protruded disc. There's a 5MP shooter on the front for selfies.

The processor inside is the new 4G Vivo mobile still a mystery; However, based on leaked information from previous reports, the processor appears to be the low-performance Helio P22. Aligned with that mediocre SoC, users will find 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM at the helm of Y02.

It will boot to a Lite Android environment (Android 12 Go) using a 5,000mAh battery, rated for 10W charging. Instead of a type-C port, the device plugs in using a MicroUSB pin.

As for essentials, the New Vivo Y-model sports a dual SIM configuration + SD card slot; in addition to 4G Voice LTE, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It lacks a biometric reader. It starts at 95$ or ~Rs 21,500.
